Was schon da ist / What Already Exists

Since December, we – the Performance Club of Theater an der Parkaue – have been meeting every Tuesday to experiment, improvise, and explore new forms of expression.
We took the city as our stage, creating unexpected situations and discovering what performance art can be.
Now our experiences return to the theater as a performative installation in the foyer.
Through movement, materials, space, and silence, we have played, observed, and transformed – creatively, sustainably, and with everything we could find.
The result is a living, ever-changing installation that invites wonder, reflection, and participation.
Under the title “What Already Exists,” we show how new meanings can emerge from what is already there.
Our themes evolved organically throughout the process; costumes and stage elements were reused from the theater’s collection, and video excerpts of our urban actions connect the outside and inside worlds – making the city part of the theater itself.
