Role

Concept and performer

The performance reflects the uncertainty of not belonging to a specific place and seeks to embed this uncertainty into its witnesses. How and why are we still here? By walking in circles (an ancient ritual), Pink Valley attempts to inhabit the present — the space between question and answer, between dilemma and hope.
The work originates from and refers to a series of drawings and writings about a near future (four years ahead), created by the audience of the performance D-Project in 2013. It emphasizes the idea that no question finds a definitive answer within time, and that we live in an uninterrupted present filled with memories and dreams.

This project was part of the art exhibition ‘Raue Strömung’ (Rough Current) by the KAP HOORN* platform.
