Role
Actress
Between 2001 and 2008, I was part of the ensemble of the National Theater of Chile under the direction of Raúl Osorio. Those years shaped my practice from the inside out — the stage was home, laboratory, and school. I performed in classics and contemporary works, including The Caucasian Chalk Circle by Bertolt Brecht, Hijo de Ladrón based on the novel by Manuel Rojas, Tartufo (adapted by Benjamín Galemiri), El Teatro, la Escena Secreta by Marco Antonio de la Parra, and La Remolienda, which received the APES Award for Best Play in 2007.
From 2002 to 2005, our company was entrusted by the Goethe-Institut to stage contemporary German playwriting for the European Playwriting Festival in Chile. As part of that ensemble, I performed in: Push-Up 1–3 by Roland Schimmelpfennig, Nosotros en la Final by Marc Becker, Tiempo para Amar, Tiempo para Morir by Fritz Kater.
These productions toured internationally, including the Ibero-American Theater Festival in Bogotá and Stücke 2004 in Germany (Mülheim an der Ruhr and Schauspiel Frankfurt).
This period grounded my artistic ethos: theatre as a collective organism, collaboration as method, and performance as a place where questions stretch beyond what is visible — toward memory, politics, and the fragile fabric of being together.
